Not necessarily. Many customers leave their laundry with a doorman, concierge, or in a secure pickup location. You can leave notes for the driver during checkout to ensure a smooth pickup.

All laundry is washed with premium, hypoallergenic detergents. Delicates are placed in a mesh bag during the washing process. Our team carefully washes, dries, and folds each order to ensure your items are returned fresh and properly cared for.

Yes. You can leave notes during checkout if you have preferences such as cold wash, delicate items, or special handling instructions.

Please do not include items that require dry cleaning, leather, suede, or heavily soiled materials such as paint or oil. If we notice anything that requires special care, we will reach out before processing.

Our team carefully checks pockets before washing, but we strongly recommend checking all items before sending your laundry. Launderette New York is not liable for damage to personal items left in pockets or damage caused to garments during the wash process.

Pricing is based on the total weight of your laundry. Your order will be weighed once it arrives at our facility, and you will only be charged for the final processed weight.

Of course! We have 3 different complimentary detergent scents to select from, including unscented, Lavender, and Lemon. We also offer Laundry Sauce detergent for an extra fee. Additionally, you can customize wash temperature, and add cycle customizations like Heavy Soil and Extra Rinse.

Processing time depends on which service you choose. Our standard turnaround time is 24 hours, however, if you need your clothes fast, you can also opt for our Same Day (8-hour turnaround) or Express (4-hour turnaround) services. All Same Day and Express orders must be dropped off before 2 PM that day.

Yes! We have a variety of retail items from detergents and oxygen boosters to wool dryer balls and eco-friendly dryer sheets. At Launderette, we always want to have an option for every customer, so we offer a range of higher-end and also more affordable options for purchase.

Bring your laundry to our Brooklyn store, and our front desk team will weigh your items and guide you through your available customization options. Once your order is set, we'll tag your bag, and our experienced laundry attendants will expertly wash, dry, and fold your clothes to your preferences. When it's time for pickup, your freshly cleaned items will be returned in either the bag you dropped them off in or in one of our Launderette bags, with your original bag neatly folded inside.

For drying, we offer 20 large 50 lb dryers and 2 XL 85 lb dryers, ensuring plenty of capacity for any sized load.
